In my opinion, Kate looks like Shane, she walks like Shane, she dresses like Shane, but she is also so much different than Shane. I think one thing that people noticed right away is Kate’s hair. Kate herself said that her hair has a mind of its own. Mia Kirshner added that other cast members call them the pick-up sticks. Still, up-close and personal, Kate is very cute, kind, and also seems very shy.
According to cast mates Mia Kirshner and Laurel Holloman, Kate is like 16 years-old boy and also like cuddling puppy. Mia also added that she feels like Kate’s older sister.

Kate’s thoughts on Kate
Kate loves acting and that if the role was worth it that she would go all the way for it. She enjoyed doing “Guardians” play in New York, but for right now she would like to take a break because it was a very busy year for her.
Kate doesn’t really like to travel. She doesn’t like flights in general because she gets fidgety after a couple of hours. It’s not her nature. So far, LA to London was the longest flight she had ever taken. Kate said that she’s more of a homebody and likes to hang out at her house. From all the places she did visit, Kate loves Vancouver, she prefers Los Angeles to New York, and she wants to go to France and Spain someday.
Kate doesn’t get involved in politics much, but if she were President of the United States just for a week, she’d probably reverse every decision that America had made in the last couple of years.
Kate enjoys good music. On the show, her favorite group was Sleater-Kinney. Her most favorite music group is Led Zeppelin. She thinks that’s the band of all time because she can listen to them over and over again. Kate also likes karaoke, and if she had to chose a song to sing it would be “Papa Don’t Preach” by Madonna.
Some of Kate’s cast mates consider her a very bad driver because she used to live in New York where she could walk everywhere. As she moved to Los Angeles, she began driving, and her car is like a toy for her. In response to being a bad driver, Kate said that she just drives fast.
I often wondered how Kate can keep her figure so slim and lanky, and I don’t really have an answer for that but one thing that Kate mentioned is that she always wants to eat breakfast and she always forgets.
Kate has several films to her credit, and it is interesting to know that she auditioned for the movie “Boys Don’t Cry” but didn’t get the part. Kate saw the movie after it came out and she thought that Hillary Swank did an incredible job. She wouldn’t touch or change anything that was that perfect.
Another interesting piece of information is the new tattoo that Kate added recently on her wrist. Kate said her new tattoo doesn’t have any meaning. She was in New York and her friend recommended a great tattoo artist. Kate went to see her and got that new tattoo simply because she wanted to.
